Stair and slab connection in section view

How can I create a clear connection?

Same situation here.

So far the only solution I think of is qucikly drawing 2D hatch over the stairs so that they look nice. I can't imagine building all the stairs out of combination of walls and slabs.

In the end, if I need it really 3D, what should I do?

Create a custom profile and assign it to a wall or beam? Or maybe, there is a way to have a "custom profile" for stairs? To build them manually (out of slabs and walls) and then to save them as custom stair?

It appears the slab/floor connection control (designating upper floor thickness, bottom of flight condition etc.) is missing from the 'new' (since AC21) stair tool...
... or am I missing something? The 'help' documentation is silent on this functionality.

Can anyone confirm this is missing or where I can find the setting (believe me, I've spent half an hour looking in every conceivable place!)

thanks
