Start and end height of walls

hello,

I was so pleased when archicad 10 was announced and particularly with the fact that you could now cant standard walls to the sides and forwards and backwards. However it seems that Graphisoft has only taken this half way (possibly intentionally so they can update it for 11!). Anyway it seems like they have done the hard part by tilting walls to the sides but not the height along the length of the wall. I can't see any work flow problems with having an option to set a start height and end height to the wall if required - also the start height and end height of the base of the wall.

Please correct me if I am wrong but i dont think it is possible to do this without having to use the trim to roof option which is useful some of the time but really a cumbersome operation when you are just using a roof as a triming object, especially when compared to the possibility of just being abe to interactively stretch a wall end to meet with another lower or higher wall - and don't start me on curved walls!

I am currently working on a job that has walls that cant both sideways and vertically so im using the trusty mesh tool to draw my inside, outside, and top faces! Maybe if i wait another 3 or 4 years graphisoft might pick up on this revolutionary idea!!!

Yes a good request but the workaround is to use a roof to trim the top of the wall.

Yeah thats my point, its a workaround that takes much longer and sometimes just isn't possible.

And we also have to consider that it works only with straight walls.
If you could adjust the height at the end and start of a wall it would also work for circular walls. With the "trim to roof" workaround you just can't do that.

I guess you could trim it with the circular ramp object. At least there is a workaround.
