I use Steel Object [Lipped C section beam] but I can't use 2d hotspot to adjust its length because when I do that The elevation of beam will move. Anyone face this problem ?

Are you facing the same problem if you adjust length in 3D view? Or it’s related to 2D floor plan only?

Not happen in 3d view. It happens only in 2D view but I don’t know why.

I can use steel beams normally as they’re elements not objects so try to use beam tool rather than the object one.

because in the 2D view you are only changing the length not the slope.
you can't build a line

This all comes down to how the object was scripted. The coder has not looped adjustment of the bottom nodes in plan to a change in the objects elevation...
