Hello!
I started a new project in Archicad 26 and i noticed that in 3D my surfaces are acting a little weird.
I saw some fix on another post about it being because my project origin got messed up somehow but that didn't help to get a fix with this issue. You will see in the video I made the coordinates palette that i have some weird values.
Does anyone know how to fix this?
Thanks!
LE: forgot to add that it may also affect the grip points for the elements.

So in order to fix it i have to check every story and bring over any element left behind, including 2D ones?
I checked for 3D elements and I moved them all.

I don't think 2D elements will affect it - but you still don't want those far from the project origin either.

What working units are you using.
If this is meters, it seems you are 8 kilometers away from the origin.
And 42 meters in the air?

Are you sure, Barry?
I was told by GS that 2D elements in Worksheets are affected, too.
The reason apparently is, that the worksheets are not a seperated entity but reuse the coordinate system setup, so to speak. So the overall coordinate delta will be calculated by making a bounding box over all elements. And the bigger this "box" is, the bigger your problems are getting (losing of precision).
But I might remember it wrongly...

I think you might be right because i took the time to move all the elements, both 3D and 2D, as close to the origin as possible, from all the views (floor plans, elevations, sections and worksheets) and after restarting the file, now it is fixed again.
Thank you guys for your patience and I hope that this thread will also help others in need.

No I am not really sure.
I just assumed that as they are 2D elements and this is a 3D problem, they would not affect anything.
But I may be wrong.
As I said, you really don't want anything too far away.

Good to know you seem to have it fixed.
And good to know it might be 2D elements as well.
Something to keep in mind.
