Tracker keeps disappearing

My tracker input box will disappear from time to time. I don't know why (I can only assume that I keep inadvertantly hitting the same key).

The only way I can find to turn it back on is to go into the Work Environment and turn it on that way. There doesn't seem to be any quick key assigned to turn it back on (not that I can see).

Does anyone know why this happens?

yep. it gets bored.

i have a hunch . . . and it is only a hunch: it always tends to happen after i've launched a second archicad session. it's only a feeling, but i think the 'two' applications are having conflicting access issues with each other when reading/writing from the 'Latest Work Environment' preference folder.

and the order in which those sessions of archicad are quit . . . maybe . . .

regardless. i've reported it during a couple of betas, but they don't seem to be able to track it down. fine by me. until it actually can perform an equal if not better job than the co-ordinates palette i'm happy to see it disappear . . .

Thanks!
You don't know how much energy you have saved me! Almost went berserk when the problem inaxplicable reappeared again after having a couple of months problem-free.
Thanks! You've made my day!

Since this post I have found that you can assign a keyboard shortcut or toolbar button for this: under Work Environment/Keyboard shortcuts (or Toolbars) do an alphabetical search for Show/Hide Tracker.
