Triangular mesh structure in archicad

Hi! I would like to know if it is possible to create triangular mesh structures natively in archicad, like this example:

It would be possible. ArchiCAD 16 or 17 you can use the morph tool. Before that I would probably use single plane roofs.

It would be time consuming though. I would first draft up a general outline (possibly in 2d or maybe just a good old fashioned model/maquette), approve that with client and then work on the more detailed model for production documentation.

I'm not sure if Jose is still developing Medusa but it does look
pretty cool!

Jose Gemez (wo may still be lurking these forums?) was developing some tools that from memory could do this sort of thing.
Medusa and Dragon they were called.
Do some searching here and you may find something.
I'm not sure if they were ever released but here is a link to his web site for Medusa.

Thanks for your answers! I have seen the Medusa project some weeks ago, but I don't think it is already finished...

From what I have been researching, I'm starting to think the best option would be to create the structure in Rhino, and then import it to Archicad, if needed. What do you think?
