Hi,
I have two walls which, I do not understand why, cannot be edited/ deleted.
This is one of them - the magenta one. It was part of an room test I did and now this wall is just left there
I have tried:
- unlocking the layer (it was not locked). Deleting it just changed the layer to missing even though I specified I want to delete elements as well.
- clearing SEO (although it didn't have any). Or clearing connections. no result
- unlocking the object itself - doesn't work
- I can select it but cannot edit any properties (size, composite, finish, classification etc) - as if it is locked.
- I tried this fix (aka move everything with 100m to one direction) and still couldn't delete it.
- I can delete everything in 3D but this still remains
The walls appear in 3D, but again, as locked.
For reference, this is AC27, teamwork, and the walls did not have any issue until recently (or I didn't see it). I have had hotlinked elements in this project but they are not touching these walls (or within 5m of them). I have also imported external IFC's but I never experienced this issue until now.
Any idea? Or a fix on how can I remove these unwanted elements? Do I have to try and rollback the file?
many thanks!
edit: a previous file snapshot (from yesterday) lets me easily delete that wall. Only change from yesterday were some elements I imported from some IFC File (as I did previously numerous times)
Operating system used: Windows
AC 27, running on Windows 10 Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-9700K CPU64, 3.60GHz, 16GB RAM, Nvidia GeForce GTX1650

Sometimes things can go awry in TW.
In those cases I tend to kick everybody from the project, make a Solo file out of it, open&repair, then share again.

You mentioned teamwork.
Is that wall reserved so you can edit/delete it?

Yes, wall was reserved. I have tried to delete after I reserved everything, just to make sure.
Also, I deleted all layouts and views that those walls were visible in and it still didn't help.

Thank you! That is what I eventually ended up doing - got the latest pln back-up and deleted there.
Still can’t figure out what the initial culprit was.
