When we create two walls both having the same reference line they are blending together.

But, I want to draw a one wall from the middle of the other wall like in the picture.(because my other wall sits in the middle of the other wall.

But i am ending differently.

Can any one help me to give the property of the wall can set from API_WallType Structure.
Or can i do any other way.

Try setting one of the walls on an other layer with an other number i.e. 2 instead of 1. (to the right of the wireframe/solid option. in the layersettings that is)

Also remember that they are set by Layer Combination too, so update those as well.

I want to draw a wall which is starting from the middle of the other wall. But, when i draw two walls perpendicular to each other (T joint) they are blending each other as shown in the picture. But actually i want to show the two wall on the plan (one above another).

Is there any property of API_WallType structure i can set the value not to blend. Or can i do it any other way programmatically.

Ranga, didn't we answer this for you in another thread?

sorry

if we place the two wall in two different layers also blending the walls. But, if we make the first wall layer invisible and lock the layer then we draw the wall in other layer it is not blending.

Is there any chance can i get this effect with out invisible and lock the layer?

As Remy and Max suggested, set your layer intersection priority numbers to be a different value for each layer.
And remember to update your layer combinations otherwise they will just reset them back to what they were.
It's the number next to the layer name in the layer dialogue.
Same numbers = walls will trim (even if a layer is turned off)
Different numbers = walls will never trim each other.

Thanking you its worked.

But can you please tell me how to change layer intersecting property number programatically?

Can you give me sample code please?

You can adjust with Wall Priority.
It is directly visible on plan how you adjust.
