Window settings...

Hello all,

I have a W Direct Glazed window and I would like to know what some of the settings are for:

Under "Parameters>Options" I see a setting called "Align to Door/Window on Side" from the description I can just about figure out what this does. My question is what does this actually do to the window. I have checked this off and I see nothing happening to the window in the preview box. If I knew what it was doing I could work with it properly. The same goes for the "Lining" description. Do these have anything to do with mulling windows together, if so that would be great!
