How do I adjust my 2D plan view so that the upper and lower lines of my complex profile do not appear?

See attached!
Thanks!

Choose a Floor Plan Display setting in its Dialog that is not Projected, probably the Cut Only option will do.

Thanks.
That helps with the plan view settings but the problem I am still having is that the plan view setback dimension does not match the model view setback dimension.

The Cut Only option reflects the horizontal section of the Wall at the height of the Floor Plan Cut Plane.
So you may want to play a little with Floor Plan Cut Plane settings.
