Yet another laimen question that I cannot fix.

Not applicable
Good evening. my problem is that on my two story house, when I go to my front elevation window, the wall lines show where the first floor meets the second floor.
I know that if the walls are placed properly this should not happen. So after relentless nitpicking to make sure my walls are in the correct place the pesky line still shows. To temporarily remedy this I took the Scenic route to correct this to complete the documents....(deadlines,deadlines).
I just changed the pen to one with no line weight and drew the perimeter walls on the elevation with the line tool. I need to know what I am doing wrong. Yes, I can handle the criticism. If I am an idiot I would like to know how to fix it.

second question? what is the best way to properly show the transition from 1st floor to flooring system to 2nd floor.
At this time I am setting my wall height to the floor to ceiling. placing my slab above that and then setting my 2nd floor wall height to
(bottom of flooring system to ceiling height. Please help.
Thank you for your help

You might check to make sure the material on the edge of the slab matches that of the exterior wall surface.
