How can I create a pdf plan from Plottmaker 2.1 ? Does this version have already the possibility to create a pdf with the publisher ? or do I have to use a distiller ?
You should be able to create a plotmaker file, and then print it using the printer ArchiCAD installs called "Amyuni PDF Converter" (not sure if its called the same thing in German). I use this functionality to create construction drawings to send out to my GC's if they need detail drawings ASAP, and can't wait for me to print something and physically take it to them.
I think, this one belongs to archicad 6.0 or 6.5.
there is no publisher in this version, no amunyi pdf driver, only one sheed of paper in the layout file. so it will be no problem to do this job with separate software (free or commercial; they will work by usage of print to file)
right, I wasn't thinking, we use 6.5 and 9.0 here, so the PDF converter installed by 9.0 is avalable in the plotmaker 2.1 print oprions. sorry about that. the only way I could think of would be to purchase a software PDF converter... amyuni costs € 67 to purchase.... I'm honestly not sure of another way to do it, unless you could find a free covnerter.
if you don't want to spent money and you are not afraid of confusing installations I recomment the usage of ghostscript and ghostview. many possibilities but not so easy to use.
otherwise search the internet. there are many free tools to create pdf files. for creation of a single plan they are good enough, I think
