License Delivery maintenance is expected to occur on Saturday, November 30, between 8 AM and 11 AM CET. This may cause a short 3-hours outage in which license-related tasks: license key upload, download, update, SSA validation, access to the license pool and Graphisoft ID authentication may not function properly. We apologize for any inconvenience.

composites in AC17

Is there a way to override the wall composites? In previous versions you had the option of using the composites line colors or not. I have a building shell that I'm doing a TI on and I want the shell walls to show up as a specific color and not what is dictated by the composite. I would like to avoid a second composite if possible.

Not sure this is what you are looking for (a screen shot would help) but have you tried in the Wall Settings dialog box Floor Plan and Section > Cut Surfaces > Overrride Cut Fill Pens?

You should add a Signature to your Profile (click the Profile button near the top of this page) with your ArchiCAD version and operating system (see mine for an example) for more accurate help in this forum.

I was able achieve what I wanted with the renovation filters.

I haven't really thought through this problem very well - or maybe I have and I just got my Friday brain in.
But how do you over-ride the fill AND cut lines in 17.
You can do one or the other or create a completely new composite for each wall using each line type - that would be 100's if not 1000's of extra walls.

I think the following images will explain what I mean.

An in 16 it easy to have a wall where you can over-ride the fill pens and the cut lines at the same time.

How do you do this in 17?
