custom fill patterns

Found some great geometric patterns online and wanted to turn them into fill for a project im working on. I tried setting them up as hatches in autocad but although they are quite regular I can't seem to get the edges to match up and its driving me crazy. Can anyone help? I really need them.

I think all you will need to do is to crop your image so the pattern repeats.
The top edge needs to match the bottom and the left match the right.
Something like this I think.

Thanks for your quick answer Barry

I finally cracked it. After positioning the square and getting the overall scale close enough, I tweaked it by adjusting the lines on the sides and stretching here and there.
