long delays on save/open dialog boxes

Hello,

I am experiencing very long delays on save/open dialog boxes in ArchiCAD 9 running under windows xp. This is happening with folders with about 7000 files in, but was never a problem with archiCad 7.

I've seen posts regarding a problem like this for mac with ArchiCAD 8. Is there some DisableCrossPlatfromMountingFeatures option for windows too? Or any way I can speed this up?

This has occured with my machine as well. I decided to leave maybe 50 drawings to a folder so that the folder does not over react to the load placed on it. It is still slow though. Now I only have t wait a few seconds.
