monolithic Stair with winder gives a curved bottom

I have a monolithic stair made with winder. Plan its perfect but in 3d view the bottom becomes curved. If i remove the winder its straight.

With winder.

Without winder.

I wanted to have the winder without a curved bottom

What should i do to achieve that? Thank you.

I guess technically it is correct as winders are basically a curved stair and the base is trying to flow the curve and be the same depth on both sides of the flight.

I am not sure if it a European thing, but it is certainly not how we construct them here in Australia.

Thank you for the reply and link. It basically says that you have to make it in parts. not as once piece! no way to make it neatly in archicad !

You can keep it as one stair and split the structure.

That allows you to add a flat base under the winder portion which is good.

But the flights are still a little curvy and there is noting you can do about those.

So the best option is to break it up into separate stair objects for each portion.

This gives you the most control.
