retrieve the file of without saving

I have been working on the archicad file without hitting save for a day and the end of the day i closed the file without saving it.

I faulty double click the file to re-open to find out if there are any way to go back. I probably wiped the autosave because I did not open from Dock ICON.

My data safety & integrity setting :
checked:
ultra safe & make backup copy
autosave folder as use default location
undo limit:50 steps

I check the autosave folder under TW DATA BUT there are not pln file for the project file i was working on.

Does anyone knows how to retrieve the file? Thank you.

AFAIK the File is lost, autosave only works as long as you have done ONE previous save and the file crashes. If you had done at least one save you could have a BPN file which is a backup.

Thanks ejrolon. I ended up redoing the work. I am hoping archicad create duplicate file as back up...

AC always creates backups and autosaves unless it is told "Don't Save Changes" in which case it follows the instructions and deletes them.
