roof accessory

I have a pizza slice shaped roof and want to use the roof accessory for wood planks. I can't seem to get the planks to run in the direction I need them to go in, parallel with the crust so to speak. What parameter do I need to change?

When you draw the roof, the Rafters (planks?) are always perpendicular to the plate line (original reference line), change the location of the plate line and the incline direction and you will get them to show correctly.
