BTW, they also come with a moveable option for animations.

Alternatively, if it is only needed for the section, select, copy, paste, rotate lines.

Cheers,

I am designing a very tight residential auto ramp. To prove our recomendated solution, I would like to show a car can navigate it in section. However, I can not find a way to rotate an object ins section.... is there a way.
Choose a car that has the rotation angle (all the cars from the Silver Bullet - aka 20th Anniversary libraries do), measure the angle of the ramp and input it into the rotation field.
Alternatively, just put the 2D car object from the standard library in the section and rotate it.

No lines, please ... the standard lib has 2D objects of the cars.

Why could you not move them before? Rotating is another thing, of course - depends on the type of the object.
Yes, 10 brings more editing to the S/E windows, provided you know how to select the right thing. Personally, I prefer 3D window - there I can see what I am doing.

Place any car from the existing library parts on your plan.
Put the marquee around it.
Get a parallel elevation view of from the side and save as a gdl object- call it say 'car1'.
Go back to the plan and place your 'car1' there.
It will look like your car in elevation but it has 3d properties.
Rotate the car in 'elevation' to the angle you prefer.
Put a marquee around the rotated 'car1'.
Get a parallel view from the 'top' of your apparently rotated elevational car.
The view looks like you are seeing it in plan.
Save this as a gdl object and call it 'car2'.
Go back to your library and place car 2 on plan. Get a 3-d view of it, and voila! You have your rotated car.
