is there a way where i can make the change in the symbol, in this instance, the fill, and the rest in all the other drawings will change automatically?

1. Toggle the "Options - Suspend Groups" button at the bottom of your display screen or on the menue.
2. Use "Edit - Find & Select" to pick the symbol by name.
3. Use "Edit - Tool Settings" to open up the symbols dialogue, change the fill and it should affect all of the selected symbols at once.
4. You can then untoggle the "suspend groups" button.

i have a symbol with grouped objects and pasted it all over the drawings. but i needed to change the fill and i had to do it one by one all over the drawings.
