New parameters for the zone

Hi,

I would like to add additional parameters to my zones. For example, “floor finishing”  so that I can generate a table sheet for the interior color plan. Could you please let me know how to add custom parameters to the zones?

In the Property Manager of Archicad, you can create as many Properties as you want, make them available for the "Space" Classification, assign the "Space" Classification to all Zones, so all these Properties will be available for Zones.

Hi,

You can create new properties in the classifications, and you can make them only available for zones.

Afterward, you can add these properties to your zone display options and edit them as you please. They will show up in your zone label if set up properly.

These properties can also be recalled in a text label via autotext or in schedules.

You may need more than one finish per zone, in which case this solution might not be the best. You can also model the finish with a separate slab on a finish layer and schedule these slabs per zone.
