All 2D elements moved to Archicad layer (huh?)

I noticed the other day that all the 2D elements in my sections, elevations, & details (but not floor plans) moved themselves to the Archicad layer. All the layers the elements used to be on still exist.

Has anyone seen something like this happen or know what might have been the cause? I'm completely stumped. It's not effecting my output as all the effected drawings only have one view each, so that's fortunate but I hate not understanding the annoying bugs in Archicad 11.

Thanks.

I doubt they moved themselves. There is a bug that the layer reverts to Archicad so check the layer box often. You can also use find-and-select to check what inadvertently ended up on the Archicad layer.

Right. I'm aware of that bug; for a while anytime I went to the ellipse tool the active layer reverted to some garbage layer (then when I deleted the layer it'd revert to the archicad layer). But in this instance I know the layers all changed after the objects were made and I don't understand how. I can go back to earlier versions of the file and all the layers are correct. So I can see a before bug and an after bug version of the file. And as for find and select, it's all the 2D elements in every section, elevation, and detail. I don't get it.

Do you have any Cadimage add-ons loaded? Sometimes they can cause problems like this.

Just a thought.

Cheers,

Don't know what's causing your problem, and...
You may know this already, but to ease the pain until you find the answer, "hammer" all the "found" elements as Laura states, into the right layer with one go. See the what I call the hammer to the left of layer selection button.
If you try to just pick a new layer without the "hammer" not all will go.
See, (hopefully) attached image.

Link,

Nope. No CADimage add-ons.
