I'm trying to set up the new template supplied by GS. I see how I can transfer layers and layer combinations to the new template. However, it looks like the transfered layer combos do not retain their settings of layer on and off, only the names are transferred.

so, how can I transfer the display options to the new template. I do not want to spend a bunch of time setting everything up again. It seems like it all should be able to be transferred to the new template, otherwise, nobody is going to use it.

You don't need the new layers and combos, if you don't want them. Or cities. In fact since my templates were based of original US New & Resets, the only thing I imported were the fills & materials!![]()

Tom:
so how did you get the layering system, layer combos, and display options from your old to the new template, or did you take the new materials and fills to the old template you typically use?
