I am noticing that my archicad is running slowly on my macbook pro and also iMac. For instance I am working on a single family home, about 5,000 square feet. It is on a large hillside so it has a fairly large mesh (2 meshes, existing and new). And the model is fairly detailed in terms of objects, library parts etc. Archicad is running slowly and haltingly during some operations. File size is 180 MB. Is this unusually large file size? Is there a best practice for keeping file size small? I have noticed that deleting things in the file never makes the file smaller, it just always grows as the project prgresses.... Any advice?
