Dual screen issue

Hello everyone,

I'm having an issue with archicad 18 on OSX (10.10.5) and a dual monitor setup.

I want to have all my pallets on the second screen and use the first screen for the drawing. The problem is every time archicad looses focus (I click on the desktop or open any other app) the pallets go to the first screen! Is this normal behaviour, or am I missing something?

Thank you,

Have you tried saving the set up as a tool scheme?
I have my palettes on a second screen & have no issues, but I use PC not mac, so maybe somebody who uses osx can help

Hi, I did create a new tool scheme for dual screen (also have one for single screen laptop). But I think it has to do with OSX not archicad bc I think I remember I could do it before ... Anyone with OSX has any experience in this ?

Thank you

Hi,
We have examined the above mentioned issue with displays and ARCHICAD palettes. This behaviour is caused by a bug that is planned to be fixed in the next regular update of ARCHICAD 18.
The problem is caused by the fact that since OS X 10.10.3 the operating system sends updated info about the movement of the mouse less frequently to ARCHICAD. So thus ARCHICAD "is not informed" that the palettes were dragged to the other display, their old positons are stored. When you switch between applications, ARCHICAD will show the palettes on their stored locations.
