I'm running a MacBook M3 OS Sequoia 15.6.1 and Archicad 28.3.1. I've been having an issue since downloading the last hotfix, where the dropdown menus won't go away after I use them. For example, I opened the file menu, and now I have the grey rectangle in the top left corner of my screen that I can't close. Is anyone else having this problem? Is there a solution? File size doesn't seem to matter. I've rebooted the computer several times, and it continues to happen.

It appears to be a Mac issue when you have an external monitor connected.
Is this your situation as well?
Do you have an external monitor?
Be sure to report this to your local support.
The more people that report this, the more likely it will be looked at.

Have had the issue without a Monitor connected.
Looks like it is a macOS issue only.

Hi, see my post here where at least I believe I have identified what triggers it for me. It may be different in your case, but hope this helps:

There are now four topics at least partially devoted to this bug. Can the moderators please combine the comments. Thanks.
P.S. It’s been happening to me too, for over a month, and has persisted thru updates to both AC28 and AC29.
