Trying to make a new story, but get problems

I follow the basic training material, and do exactly what I'm told.
But the story is placed at the same level as the ground floor.
I also get the message at the file I uploaded.
The same happens when I open the teaching project. Can somebody help me, please?

Welcome Anne,
When you place an element, even if all your stories are 0 height between them, elements will only show on the story they are set to. You do have the option to set which story or stories you want the element to show on.

I'm not sure what kind of an element you are placing.
In the floor plan display you can set which stories it will show on.

Please add to your signature the AC version you are using and your OS.

Thanks for your effort to help me. I suddenly got the idea to open an elevation. And, what a sight. There were slabs under the house, over the house, everywhere Now I've started all over again, trying to get some control of the slabs vertical placement parameters. And this time, I seem to succeed.
