Stray site wall - Hotlinked model

there's a stray (it's obvious....angled low wall in pick) coming from a hotlinked file.
when we open the "site hotlink" it's not there.
when we open the "building TW" file....it's there.

What gives?
on the site TW hotlink, the paving is a mesh that has been subtracted from the site mesh.

Please, you guru's.....see what you can come up with.
it's not a wall on an empty layer.
it's not anything on any 'hidden' layer.

come on guys.....no one has ever encountered this issue before?
Hotlinked SEO acting strangely?

I did discover something else.
If I raise the height of the "parking gravel" mesh.....that crazy stray wall graphics gets taller.

Again...it's not in the "Site hotlink file" but it does show up in the "Building TW file" which is where I DON'T want it to show at all.

GS: can you guys chime in please?

I remember from previous version error when a Crop to Wall or SEO made in the Hotlinked Module did not go through into the host file.
You could only try to redo it.

But one other thing I am thinking of is Stories. This is just a guess of mine. What are the Stories of the Wall and the Mesh that cuts it? Are they on the same Story in the Hotlinked Module file? Do they have the same Home Story? That might affect it.
