The black/purple chequer board pattern means that the texture image file is missing from your loaded libraries.
If you look in the Library Manager you will see a list in warnings section telling you the names of the missing texture files.
You need to load these in a linked library or add them to the embedded library.
Unfortunately I can not tell you where you can find them
They should be part of the download from Archibase I assume.

Still being designed in 23? Doesn't that mean you need to backsave to 24, open that, then backsave again to 23? Maybe go get the AC23 library and skip the migration as the names of texture files sometimes changes...

you need to check your library manager make sure there are no missing items.
