First renders with gdl geometry tool

I'm developing a tool (gdl library called "Medusa") to make complex geometry in Archicad (no need any external programs like rhino, cinema...) There are my first renders of geometry. This can be make in only five minutes...

The pics of the geometry in Archicad

And a capture of the tool (in spanish...)

Can you briefly explain the concept of your library? E.g. what is the main intention? Which kind of form generation algorithms are you providing?

And does it integrate well in 2D, sections, etc.?

Interesting development.
Beware of the "Generative Components" name, as Bentley might object.

Edited: Now you can view a little tutorial i made last night to view the tool in action, www.youtube.com/watch?v=qc3yvc1vuaM

First:
-I'm architect and my skill programming are very limited, like my english...
-I have started to learn GDL about two o three week ago, before I only put some parameters to script or things like that.
... So don't you expect any great tool, like rhino, grasshopper o something like.
- Its the first version of the library...

The main goal I want its have some freeform and panelling tool, maybe to sketch the form... then you can do the final version in rhino, cinema4d o the tool you prefer. I think that many architect can do this kink of form but don't want to learn grasshopper... I can made in archicad like a sketch and if i want to do this perfectly... then i can call a specialist like you... ...

With the tool you can rotate any object in the space graphically, cut and edit some parameters. It has plane cut sensitive.
Wishes are welcome.
It works perfect in section, plans a 3d document. I think that archicad is a good tool to do documents (plan, section...)

New tool... dragon... to make freeform, you can move every point freely (x, y and z) in plan, section and 3d. Like a shell but you can move point by point freely. The form can be you use then with medusa...

Congratulations Jose - this looks to be a most useful tool: Please keep us all updated with your evolution of Dragon

Hi... this weekend has been very productive...

"you can move almostr freely every point (with some limitations obviously). Up to one hundred points, every point has two gh one for move in x-y plane and another for z. Every point can be move in plane and in the space or section. Can rotate the system in the space. You can save your custom parts for the structure. Parts in x axis and y axis configurable. You can hide structure or the shell. Materials for structure and shell... "
I have upload some pics and a video demo o youtube.

Looking good.......and it is fascinating to see the convergence between this and the morph tool introduced with AC16.......

... well for now, i stop to develop anything, with dragon you could make something like a bubble that you can move point by point (with a radius smoth), and now i see the morph tool and i think that morph can do this things... son i dont waste more time develop anything. This is the last renders i make, in my blog can view the whole serie, when I try the morph toll and see and maybe i finish "dragon" or maybe not.

I don't know What you are taking the whole morph thing this way,

You seem to have done a great job, yes it has similarities to the new morph tool but your object has apparently, at least, two things the morph tool doesn't have :
a thikness and an attached structure...this may be important . ( the needs may differ from one user to another.)

( there are two stairs plugin while there is the stairmaker in ArchiCAD )
