No shadows on floor

Hi,

As you can see in this render I can't get shadows on the floor.
Does somebody know what the problem is?
I've been trying changing several parameters but no effect so far...

Thank you very much!

You don't say what rendering package or what version of Archicad you are using.
This will affect the answer you get.

I am assuming 18 and the built-in Cinerender.
If so have you turned your lights on and allowed for shadow casting in the photo render settings?

Barry.

OK now check the settings of your downlight objects.
Is the shadow casting turned on in the object and is the length of the light distance long enough to reach the floor?

Barry,

My light distance was 250 so I've changed it to 261 (sealing hight) but no shadows. I've even tried 270 but no shadows under the seats/table

Charlotte:

Try changing "Toon schaduw" > "Transparent" from 0 to 100, I think your shadows are transparent.

You should add a Signature to your Profile (click the Profile button near the top of this page) with your ArchiCAD version and operating system (see mine for an example) for more accurate help in this forum.
