Does anyone use the Maxon engine for rendering? It seems that it takes a lot of time to get colors and textures to come together. You can get color and no texture or texture but the wrong color. The color selection is limited to what is already shown on the texture and there is no color override. Is there a simple solution to this color / texture problem without having to unpack the lcf and spend hours in photoshop trying to get the color to match the manufactures sample color?

If they ever got around to updating the surface editor to allow you to insert channels into an existing stack, it would be as easy as adding a layer and colour channel... was sure there was a wish for that somewhere around here...
