White Halo/border around transparent png

When I try to import 2D png images as a replacement for the top view to a 3D tree, it generates a white halo effect around my png. The png is completely transparent, meaning that when i import it into another software only the parts that should have color do have color. In Archicad however, it generates  a white halo effect around the object

That's because there is no real transparency in AC.

You can have it on or off, but nothing inbetween. That's why the white part is suddenly showing (completely on instead of blended).

Long standing wish for like 25+ years.

Hopefully one day!....
