colored floor plan

How to generate\create colored floor plan for presentation from normal archicad plans?
I have attached a sample image of my requirement.

You can use Image Fills.

The easiest approach is to use simple cover fills.

Martha Calderon's illustration work.
In a "Design Graphics" July 2001, article she talks
about her process. At that time it was strictly a
2D linedrawing import with lots of Photoshop.

I think you can easily see how to get her look in far less
time with AC today + minor Photoshop.

Just asking...

Is possible to assign a slab a fill and see the image fill in some plans and a vector fill in other ones?

Or see the vector fill in plans and image fill in 3D views? In a top plan?

Sometimes is useful to have some plans in line and other ones filled with patterns...

This can be done by using a Cover Fill for the 2D (Plan) view, and textures with the OpenGL Engine (or PhotoRendering) in the 3D Window, including Parallel Projection Setting > Top View for a Plan view in the 3D Window.
