Somebody just liked an old post I made, so I thought I would turn it into a wish.

When an object is password protected it can not be opened without the password.
Which is great for 3rd party developers to protect their work.
But they don't know the attributes (pens, fills, surfaces, etc.) that people use in their custom templates.
As the end user can't open the object without the password, there is no way to reset the default settings of the object (except by saving a favourite with those settings).
It would be great if the password protection still allowed you to open the object and see just the parameter list, so default settings could be changed.
