Automatically putting text on layer when layer comb choosen

Text, notes, dimensions would be out on a predetermined layer when a layer combination is chosen. It worked great in ADT so... many years ago when we used it. The little things make a HUGE difference in the everyday things.

I wrote an add-on that did that once.... it was a serious pain! I would love to see that functionality right out of the box.

Yes, great idea. But people in my office struggle with Layer Combo's as it is, never mind adding a list of defaults for tools as well.

I think "essential", they think "what layer combo's?"

but once set in the office template they wouldn't have to think at all . . . and your annotation wouldn't find itself on the wrong drawings . . .
