Maybe this has been said elsewhere, or perhaps it should have its own thread, but if someone would outline how to create a toggle button for a toolbar (in AC9) to toggle between Hairlines and True lineweights, I'd be very happy!
This can only be done via an API add-on. But, the good news is:
The Windows version of a 9.0 add-on (QuickDisplay) to do this and more is ready. This is offered as
freeware to the ArchiCAD community in celebration (?!) of my 1,000th post here.

I'm in the process of buying a used Mac from a fellow talker so that I can compile a Mac version. But, it'll be at least a couple of weeks before all of the pieces arrive. I'll announce the Mac version of the add-on when it is ready, Thomas.
Ideally, users of QuickDisplay should map the toggle hairline command to a shortcut key (I use "H" for Hairline). Pressing the key once switches to hairline; pressing again switches to true weight. Seems trivial, but it really speeds work. The add-on also has commands for several other display options.
Hopefully, I'll have the Mac version before too long.
This is for 9.0 only by the way.
