Please -- Graphisoft Wish Fairy: Hot Spot Toggle

Dwight
Newcomer
Dear Graphisoft Wish Fairy:

I spend too much time looking for object hot spots.

Could it be possible to make a simple keyboard on/off toggle for hot spots??

Sort of like "Peek-A-Boo" ICU?

...and, perhaps, a view option.

...but the hot key sounds most useful.

This is an important one for speeding up the day to day.

Nice one! Half of the objects I work with have hotspots in places I would never have thought of, but none where I think they should be. Being able to see them on demand would be great.

Mr Office Depot mouse pad.......

Sonata had this in the nineties - but the Unix based application had power to burn - you could touch anything anywhere to make a selection - all elements were objects, but dumb ones...

Perhaps someday ArchiCAD will have this feature ......

this concept seems to be gaining support. i expressed this wish a couple of years ago and it went nowhere.

Also i wish to see the hot spot for dimension text.

I could never understand the logic of hiding hot spots. its counterintuitive.

its also a real time waster.

It could be like handles on text

or just make the dimension text hot spot appear. the hot spot that you grab to move or alter the text. its always kind of in the same place but i always have to root around for it.
its really annoying.

Dwight, thanks for bring this issue up!!

Maybe just one handle, where the hotspot is now... four handles could get crowded.
