I support the wish.
Meanwhile:
As I see it for the Board this is controlled by the Board Width parameter.
But from the interface it looks like there is some restriction in the script so that it does not allow the thickness of the Board to be less than a certain value (so that it at least extends to the surface of the Wall).
You would have to find in the Parameter Script the VALUES command that defines this.
I think for the Board it is found in the Parameter Script of the file Board.gsm.
Look for the line
values "gs_board_width" range[(GLOB_CONTEXT <> 1) * (WALL_THICKNESS + minBoardNosing - WIDO_SILL - WIDO_FRAME_THICKNESS), )
I suppose if you modified this line to the following:
values "gs_board_width" range[(GLOB_CONTEXT <> 1) * minBoardNosing, )
that should be fine.
Probably should works similarly for Sill.
Of course this GSM file is in the ArchiCAD Library LCF so you would have to extract the LCF, and modify this part. Then you may recreate the LCF file.
So do this at your own risk because modifying the default library is not recommended.
Also, make sure to backup the Library LCF before modifying.
Also consider that if there is a library update or hotfix it will be looking for the original ArchiCAD Library LCF file and if it finds this one instead, it will give an error and will not update, as far as I know.
In that case you would have to put back the original LCF in its proper place before updating the Library, Update the Library, then redo these replacements in the LCF.
