Is it possible to turn plaster/composite skins to window at the head in section view. We can do this in plan view but not section?

My composite floor display obscures the metal web joist object. Any ideas on how to make the joist display in the section view?

Window sill doesn't trim wall on storey below. This is a problem where the window sill is at floor level. Is there a possible easy workaround?
