2D Elements in IFC Files - How to Do It?

Can anyone tell me how to include 2D lifework and objects in an IFC file. IFC 2x3 and forward is supposed to be able to do this, but I have had no luck.

Hi. what do you mean when you say 2D elements? 2D symbols for windows and doors? or objects? if there are doors and windows, then turn on the checkbox in the translator. if there are 2D objects then this is impossible

Aaron, the option marked in the screenshot are the ones I am aware of that export 2D elements as part of the IFC file. I have not tried it so if you do, I would be interested in the result.

Are there other ideas to put entities to the sash of a window, that we can represent the opening style in the model?
