AC13 Printing to PDF Problem

AC 13-64
Is this a bug?

Printing a marquee to pdf from elevation/section window now takes over 2 minutes for me. I thought it was freezing, but it eventually comes back and produces the print. AC 12 took a few second to print the PDF.
Anyone else having issues with this.
Any work arounds?

The pdf function works fine (few seconds) if I save view and print via publisher but I like to take snapshots from wherever I like...
In publisher I can output anything (full sets) in seconds.

Ahh, my pdf just finished ... 5 minutes for final size a whopping 61kb...

Thanks

If I 'New & Reset All' the problem does not exist.
When I bring my work environment over to new copy prints to pdf fine.
When I merge my work into it the pdf printing hangs.
Looking desperately for the problem. A setting somewhere it seems but i am at a loss....

Any ideas...

Again, publisher to pdf works fine. Even printing pdf from a marquee works fine in a layout. Doesn't work from 2d window or elevation windows...

Thanks,
Greg

Can you post a screen shot of what you are trying to print?
Does it contain JPG images or symbol fills.

What PDF printer are you using?
When publishing Archicad uses a built in PDF converter which is different to any you will use when printing directly.
Is it compatible for W7-64?

Good point. It is using the adobe acrobat 8.5 printer.
Funny though, it works fine in AC12...

Here is the actual PDF created after 2 minutes. Created in elevation window from marquee. Forgive the jagged appearance printed @ 72 dpi.
No 3 dimensional parts, only polygons / fills...
Pretty simple.

AC12 1 second to print. AC13 2 minutes....

There is an image in the PDF of the heater that I can select.
Could that be the problem?
Try deleting that before publishing.

Have you tried just publishing just a couple of lines?

I have no trouble publishing a PDF from a section window but then I only have Windows XP and am using the old Amyuni PDF converter.
I don't have the Acrobat writer.

Oh yeah, I forgot about that image I had buried in there. Took it out.
Same behavior.
If I only have a a few polygons it works fairly well. Like 4 polygons.
I am not sure of the threshold of complexity where it hangs but it is very low.
Again, AC 12, no hang for any level of complexity.
That print took another 2 minutes even with the image deleted...
