Arc Length dimension in Zones

Hello!

I am trying to use the arc length dimension tool for zones to annotate a diagram for the planning authorities. We use zones in order to calculate both area and volume simultaneously. However it seams that the arc length tool does not snap as shown in the attached image :

Any ideas why?

Is there a node there on the zone for the dimension to associate to?

Unfortunately the rating tools do not work on zones
And if we can quote the length of zones, these quotes are not associative
