License Delivery maintenance is expected to occur on Saturday, November 30, between 8 AM and 11 AM CET. This may cause a short 3-hours outage in which license-related tasks: license key upload, download, update, SSA validation, access to the license pool and Graphisoft ID authentication may not function properly. We apologize for any inconvenience.

Can't Publish PDF in AC16 on Mac - HELP!

Anonymous
Not applicable
Out office just updated to AC16, I recently found out that I am experiencing two problem that I would like resolved ASAP.

1) I am having problem publishing from the Organizer - Publisher to PDF's. The Application keeps crashing. I tried publishing it in AC12 as well but the AC still keeps crashing.

2) I can no longer create and publish in Custom Paper Sizes.

Will I need to install a PDF printer to resolve this problem?

THanks in advance.

PDF support is a built-in feature of Mac OS X so, no, you don't need to install a PDF printer/etc.

It is possible that your crash is related to this Java issue:
http://www.archicadwiki.com/Bugs/CannotSavePdfAfterJavaUpdate?highlight=%28pdf%29%7C%28crash%29

except that you say you are in 10.7 and that article is about 10.6 ...

Have you run Apple > Software Update to be sure that everything is up-to-date on your Mac?

Contacted tech support?

Karl

PS I'm changing the title of your post to include PDF in the hope that someone else who has seen this issue might respond with a solution.
