Out of sudden from nowhere. I can't place object any more for this specific file. If I open other file or new one, I am able to do so. I thought it must be corrupted file and need repair. After doing repair, nothing change.
When I click on the screen, nothing happen, besides a message appeared in the right side of bottom and disappeared very quick, I was able to use video to captured: the message saying: Saint to Recovery File...
I have check all setting. I even turn on all layers. turn off graphics override.
I can see my previous placed object in the screen, but I just can't place another one.
Anything else I missing?

Check your layers, it might have been placing on a hidden layer? Not sure if it actually allows you to do this.
Check your 3D, might it be placing outside of your floor plan display range?

Thanks, Lingwisyer, I used eyedropper, and fixed the issue. I don't know why, but I will remember this trick.
I used Mac. AC25
