I think... printing of PDFs is just a kind of pass through. The B/W setting will only apply to Archicad's 'own' graphics (controlled by Pen sets) and XREFed DWGs (same pens there).

Thanks.
I was afraid of that. It goes along with the general problem I find with turning color pdfs to black and white ones in a simple manner.

If you use Publisher, you can set the print (or plot) to be black and white, no problem at all.
Cheers,

Link,
That actually doesn't work with any of the color PDFs I've tried (i've tried to print by plotting, publishing, and printing). Have you had luck with this? I have wondered if this is a bug that will change in the next update of 10 (i currently use build 987, which i think is the most recent) or if it is a function of Archicad's relationship with external PDFs.

It works for me on 987 (which isn't the most recent, 1010 is). Maybe you can upload the PDF in question?
BTW. You can test plot files, by saving them instead of sending them directly to the plotter. Then you can drop them back onto the layout and check them.
Cheers,
Link.

Interesting. I'll try some things again tonight or tomorrow morning. And if that doesn't work I'll try uploading one of the files.
Thanks
