You are absolutely right, Kimfrromzim, it's the project origin that matters not the user origin. I haven’t realized this. And the reason why it’s so displaced is that I started the project by opening an existing DWG survey saved it as ArchiCAD file and just continued to work on it. Thank you Djordje for pointing out what the problem might be.

I used to share an office with Djordje, and the number of times we got DWGs with project origin miles away - in fact I think we always did, there was never a time when the origin was actually in the same place as the drawing that they produced...and we had to move the whole lot over to the origin, if it would even open when the origin was so far away.
I learnt some Serbian curses in those days ...😉 which as a lady I've forgotten now, of course!

Did you guys notice that Kim's Avatar winks?
It happens about every 6-7 seconds.

Around here, the Autocad using majority does not know ANYTHING about origins, limits, etc ... line, offset, trim ... aaaargh!
No, you can't correct them as you would be doing nothing else!!!!
I also have the same problem when I do as Akos did - start from a DWG. Then the shooting off to space is inevitable.
Completely off topic: I have the privilege of all three of being my dear friends that I have met personally!!!! Never mind the 5000km to Budapest, or "a bit" more to Winchester ... and yes, Kim does wink so ladylike😉
