Fill in cavity w/o fill?

Any way to avoid using a gray fill to get a solid gray ceiling/roof cavity?
It's tricky with trusses as the spaces in between webs/chords are empty.

I drew the Truss as a complex profile.

Then settings for the gaps as follows:

Still allows a 3D-appearing truss.

How about cutting your section through the truss?  That would provide solid cut fill for the truss.  For the insulation section, you can apply a GOR for gray.

As to the non-insulated truss voids, do you need those really need to be filled in?  That will block your dimensions and notes within.  But if so, perhaps a normally clear material plane placed in line with the truss cut (along the section line) that can also be subject to a cut fill or GOR?
