This began a few days ago. When I need to select an element to drag, rotate, copy, etc., it, the check mark indicating a node on the element appears a few pixels away in space. Hovering over an element where a node should be and clicking does not light up any nodes...the cursor has to be off the element. Once I find the node and click on it, the element (i.e.: a line, a label, a text box) jumps on the screen. This also happens with the dimension tool where the witness line does not align with the node on the element I am trying to dimension...always a few pixels away. What's going on, and how can I fix it? Any chance this is related to a Microsoft wireless mouse?
Eduardo & Lazlo, thank you very much for your interest in my problem. I was able to solve it by employing the simplest procedure for dealing with ArchiCAD's dozens of neuroses...close the program, turn off the computer, reboot, reopen the program and the project file. Guess what? No more jumpy screen, and the cursor settled on the selection dots as it is supposed to do! This procedure works on other programs, so why not ArchiCAD?
