How to Asign Pen Settings to Imported Autocad PSpace Layouts

Can this be done?
- I merged an Autocad file into AC's Layout Book (Append PSpace to Layout) and I get all the viewports within the Autocad Layout.
- The Viewport comes in with its Autocad Colors as a Embedded file.
- If I select the Drawing Settings the "Pen Setting Option" is blank and it cannot be selected (see attached)

Is there a way to assign a new pen set to the viewports without having to explode them?
